Lala Kent believes Tom Sandoval’s best friend Tom Schwartz knew about his affair with Raquel Leviss and slammed him for not doing anything about it.
“I don’t like weakness. At times, you have to be a good person,” Kent, 32, told TMZ Monday when asked if she thinks Schwartz knew about the months-long affair.
She added that Schwartz, 40, should have inserted himself in the drama and told Sandoval’s girlfriend, Ariana Madix, instead of staying quiet to protect his cheating business partner.
“[He should have] rolled up on Ariana, or said [to Sandoval] ‘You tell Ariana, or I will.’” Kent told the website.
She also said that she wouldn’t be surprised if Leviss and Sandoval are now “fully together.”
Kent isn’t the only “Vanderpump Rules” star to believe that Schwartz knew about the affair, which has since been dubbed “Scandoval.”
Lisa Vanderpump believes that Schwartz had to have known Sandoval was cheating.
“I think they are so close he knew something,” Vanderpump, 62, said on “Watch What Happens Live with Andy Cohen” last week.
And former co-star Kristen Doute called Schwartz “a f–king p—y” for seemingly staying quiet on the matter, adding that “he needs to man up.”
“Enough is enough. He’s just burying his head in the sand and thinks that things will just go away and things will happen,” Doute, 40, said on last week’s episode of Dear Media’s “Scheananigans” podcast.
Doute added, “It’s like he can be honest with us in real time and texting, ‘I don’t stand for this’ or ‘I really feel this way,’ but he doesn’t do anything about it.”
However, days after the scandal broke, Sandoval, 40, claimed that Schwartz was unaware of his secret relationship with Leviss, 28.
“I fully understand and deserve ur anger & disappointment towards me, but please leave [Tom] Schwartz my friends and family out of this situation…” Sandoval wrote on Instagram earlier this month.
He claimed that Schwartz only “recently” found out about the cheating and “did not condone it.”
Sandoval’s defense of Schwartz came amid a boycott of their new Los Angeles bar Schwartz & Sandy’s.
“There are 3 other partners and 20 employees, who rely on the restaurant for income for them and their families,” Sandoval wrote. “Just like [first bar] TomTom, I’m a small part of a much bigger thing.
“Please direct ur anger towards me and not them. They did nothing wrong.”
Sandoval made no mention of Madix, 37, in his initial statement but publicly apologized to his girlfriend of nearly a decade days later.
“I made mistakes, I was selfish, and made reckless decisions that hurt somebody I love,” he wrote on Instagram. “No one deserves to feel that pain so traumatically and publicly. I can only imagine how devastating this has been for Ariana and everyone around us.”
Madix discovered that Sandoval was cheating on her with Leviss on March 1. She had been watching Sandoval’s cover band perform at TomTom in West Hollywood, Calif., when she found a sexually explicit video of Leviss on her then-boyfriend’s phone.
Madix immediately broke things off with Sandoval upon discovering that her “Fancy AF Cocktails” co-author and Leviss had been “communicating inappropriately for months.”
Leviss has shared that she regrets her actions, writing on Instagram last week that she has an “addiction to love” but is seeking professional help.
“I am reflecting on my choices, speaking to a counselor and I am learning things about myself such as my patterns of codependency and addiction to being and feeling loved,” Leviss wrote in an Instagram post.
She added, “I have sought emotional validation through intimate connections that are not healthy without regard for my own well-being, sometimes negatively affecting others and often prioritizing the intimate connection over my friendships.”
Madix has yet to publicly speak on the matter but she made her feelings known by blocking both Sandoval and Leviss on Instagram.
She then jetted off to Mexico to attend a friend’s wedding but is reportedly back in the States as of Tuesday, TMZ reported.
Page Six previously confirmed that the “Pump Rules” cast will reunite to address the unraveling drama at the end of the month and have already filmed scenes about the drama.
