Aldi has launched its Christmas advert this year and has already been viewed by more than five million people on its YouTube channel. Featuring much loved Kevin the Carrot, fans were delighted to see the seasonal favourite return this year.

Now the supermarket giant has announced its newest Kevin the Carrot range, which will be sold in stores and online soon.

With Kevin and his vegetable family once more surging in popularity, Aldi is expecting a rush of demand for merchandise of the popular character.

So, the supermarket has used the same online queuing technology as Glastonbury to manage the numbers on its website when the toys are released.

The nation’s most beloved vegetable Kevin returned to screens last Friday 6th November in Aldi’s 2020 Christmas advert.

The advert follows Kevin on his journey home, delayed after Lieutenant Turkey mistakenly ejects Kevin from the plane.

However thanks to Harry the Hedgehog and Santa Claus, Kevin makes it home in time for Christmas.

Fans praised the advert for being “full of Christmas spirit”, calling it “heart-warming”.

Some even joked Kevin is the “only one who can save Christmas”.
