I'm worried a shopkeeper has run off with my lottery winnings | The Sun

DEAR DEIDRE: COULD a shopkeeper have run off with my National Lottery winnings?

I have possibly won a large sum of money, but I think the shop where I bought the ticket has defrauded me.

I am a 52-year-old man. When my ticket was put through the machine it rang meaning a win.

The shopkeeper stared at my ticket, then disappeared under his counter before giving me a receipt for £30.

I objected but he said this was the amount I’d won.

When I got home from work I checked the unclaimed tickets and saw that there was one for a million pounds in my area.

The numbers were the ones I sometimes use but not every week. The shopkeeper has disappeared.
