How to send a free Mother's Day card to your mum

SAVVY savers can send a personalised Mother’s Day card to their mum this Sunday without spending a penny.

FreePrints Cards is offering a deal where you can send a free personalised postcard, usually worth £2.15, if you sign up to its app.

MoneySavingExpert, which first reported the deal, said that the offer is available until 6:30pm on March 11 –  which is also the last day you can post your card if you want it to arrive in time.

To get the deal, you’ll need to download the FreePrints Card app via the App Store or Google Play.

Usually, cards will cost 85p to deliver from the website, but postage is free on your first order.

Once you sign up, there’s a special Mother’s Day card section you can browse – and you can add photos to personalise your postcard.

When you’ve selected your card, make sure to press the Standard postcard option, which means you’ll get it for free.

After you’ve written your message on the postcard, fill in your mum’s name and address and hit send.

It will then be delivered to your mum first-class for free, so long as she lives in the UK.

But it doesn’t have to be a Mother’s Day card – you can choose any postcard and send it without spending a penny under the deal.

If you’ve already sent your mum a card, or want to send her something a little more special, we’ve rounded up the best Mother’s Day flowers with the cheapest delivery.
