Gogglebox’s hidden family members as Marcus’ son is banned from show
Googlebox viewers were left shocked when show favourite Marcus Luther revealed he has a son Shiloh, who he said will never appear on the show as he's "a fighter".
Marcus and partner Mica Ven have been hugely popular with their loved-up relationship and hysterical opinions since first joining the show in 2018.
The couple share a son Yash, but their other children are less known including Shiloh, who is a famous boxer who goes by the name Sugar Shy, while Mica has daughters Sachelle and Shuggy.
Marcus and Mica are among several cast members of the hit Channel 4 series with relatives who prefer to remain out of the Gogglebox spotlight, here OK! takes a look at the hidden Gogglebox family members…
The Malones
The Manchester-based Malones show crew currently consists of parents Julie and Tom Senior and son Shaun.
Tom Jr used to appear on the show but, he left the cast in 2021 to pursue other opportunities. Their daughter Vanessa has made a previous appearance on the programme, but is not a regular sofa critic.
The couple also have a third son Lee who runs a recruitment firm and has never appeared on the show before. Recently, fans got a glimpse of Lee as the family celebrated the sibling marrying his partner Sarah in a gorgeous ceremony.
The Siddiquis
Dad Sid and his two sons, Baasit and Umar are hugely popular members of the Gogglebox team.
But outside the show, Baasit and Umar also have two sisters and both brothers are happily married. Their wives also choose not to appear on the show.
Sid's wife Nasreen, whom Sid has been married to for 40 years, also steers clear of show appearances and previously said the show was "not for me".
She said: "I don't speak very good English and I'm very shy.
"It's best left to the boys. You won't get me on the TV," she once told the Daily Mail.
Ellie and Izzi Warner
Sisters Ellie and Izzi appear on Gogglebox at Ellie's gorgeous home.
Izzi lives in her own flat with boyfriend Grant and their two children, son Bobby and daughter Bessie Rose.
Fans got to meet Ellie's boyfriend Nat for the first time as he replaced Izzi during the first lockdown when she was unable to film due to social distancing rules.
Ellie took time off the show to support Nat after a tragic car accident. However, the star recently made a return to the series – with Nat even making a cameo over the phone.
Ellie and Izzi's mum has never appeared on the show and tends to steer clear of the spotlight, too. Ellie once gave fans a glimpse of her beloved mum with a Mother's Day tribute post on Instagram.
Jenny Newby and Lee Riley
Much-loved Hull duo Jenny and Lee have been firm friends for over 20 years and have been firm Gogglebox favourites since they joined in 2014.
But, yet to appear on the show is Jenny's husband Ray, who declined to take part in the show when he and Jenny were approached by casting agents at Beverley Races Ladies' Day.
Lee also has a long-term partner Steve, whom he's been with for two decades and hasn't appeared on the show either.
Steve lives in Cyprus and the pair were separated during the coronavirus pandemic as Lee was unable to travel to the island to visit for six months.
Dave and Shirley Griffiths
Welsh couple Dave and Shirley joined thew show in 2015 and are known for their one liners and fun-filled banter towards each other.
The pair have been married for over 40 years. As well as their beloved French bulldog Blue, Dave and Shirley have two children. But, their kids are yet to feature on an episode of the Channel 4 programme.
However, fans were able to get a rare glimpse of Dave and Shirley's grown-up kids in a family pic as they smiled alongside their children Simon and Gemma, as well as Gemma's husband Alex and their grandson Elliot.
