Estate agent snaps leave people in stitches as they spot home owner under duvet
A homeowner has had the internet in stitches after they failed to get out of bed for an estate agent snap.
The person, who is clearly putting their property on the market, decided that instead of getting out of the bed for the photo, they'd just hide under the cover instead.
The photo has gone viral on Twitter after one social media user spotted it online and decided to share it.
The Twitter user, known as Beth, wrote: "Just love that this person was like, I could get out of bed while the estate agent takes a picture or I could become b e d l u m p."
The tweet has so far racked up 544 retweets and more than 9,000 likes with people left in stitches.
One exclaimed: "I love it," as another added: "I hope this person's doing OK."
Many were even on the side of the 'bed lump', with one writing: "You come take pictures before 9am and I'll be bed lump too."
Another added: "Some days you're the photographer, other days you're the bed lump."
The photo also sparked many people to share their own stories of awkward house viewings where people were asleep or still in bed.
One person wrote: "I swear we viewed a house where a lad was asleep in bed. Definitely considered it myself for some viewings too."
While another added: "I actually went to look at a flat once and when we turned up with the estate agent they’d forgotten the appointment.
"We had to do the viewing with someone hiding under the sheets. Proper weird."
A third chimed in: "Reminds me of viewing a flat in Walthamstow.
"The estate agent showed us a room where someone was asleep in bed… even turning the light on.
"And, just to outdo himself he also opened the door on someone else in the lav."
Someone even said they were the person asleep themselves, admitting: "I slept on the sofa of my friends uni house one night only to wake in the morning to a houseful of French students being shown the house by the landlord.
"I slept in a short dress and big faux fur coat and to this day I’m glad I can’t understand what they were saying about me."

The survey analysed over 139 million different Instagram posts to reveal people’s favourite room in their home.
Kitchens had 39,189,992 posts, followed by bedrooms (21,345,111 posts), the living room (20,126,152 posts), bathrooms (16,491,692 posts) and nurseries (10,243,321).
