Erin Lim gushes about dream wedding to Joshua Rhodes

E! host Erin Lim is used to getting ready for awards shows, but now she’s prepping for another big event.

Lim, 29, gushed to Page Six about how she envisions her upcoming nuptials to Joshua Rhodes after getting engaged last month.

“Now that I am actually engaged, I am having those, like, fantasies of like, ‘Oh, my gosh, it could be here with an amazing view!’” she exclaimed. “And, you know, as long as it’s safe, you know, as long as this whole thing is under control, we are not in a rush to set a date and everyone who has postponed this year has already booked for next and everyone who got engaged top of the year’s already planned theirs for later next year. So we’re kind of like, dang, are we ever gonna get a date?”

While dreaming about saying “I do,” Lim drew inspiration from another celebrity couple.

“We really want to do like a courthouse wedding where it’s like us, you know, early and then maybe do the Hailey Bieber, Justin Bieber route where they had like a whole year of just being married to themselves and then they had the party,” she said. “We’re down to do that. We just want to start our life and save for things that are important like a house and then, you know, maybe in 2022 if all is under control, I’d love to have something, perhaps, you know, with a view, maybe the mountains or a beach. Malibu sounds lovely.”

As for fashion, she already has that under control.

“I’ll see something and then I’m like, ‘Oh, wait. But I also like this!’ so what I’m thinking is there will be multiple outfits,” she said. “The ceremony outfit, it’ll be very traditional. And then there will be the reception outfit. And then there will be an afterparty outfit. And then there will be an outfit to jump on a plane and leave everyone behind.”

Lim joked that the last outfit would most likely be “sweats with a veil” — perhaps drawing homage to the Juicy Couture sweatsuits Britney Spears and Kevin Federline wore on their wedding day.
