Costa’s new summer menu includes a KitKat muffin and lemon swirl cheesecake

COSTA'S summer menu hits cafes tomorrow and it includes a KitKat muffin and lemon swirl cheesecake.

In total, there are 10 new items being added to the line up, including a range of fresh salads.

From May 6, sweet toothed customers will be able to get their hands on the new chocolate muffins made with KitKat, which costs from £2.25.

It follows the successful launch of the Rolo muffin last year, and the Lotus Biscoff and Terry's Chocolate Orange versions in 2019.

There’s also a new lemon swirl cheesecake coming tomorrow too, which will set you back £3.

Cake lovers will be able to sink their teeth into a lemon and blueberry cake, lime and coconut loaf cake or a strawberries and cream muffin too.

What’s new to Costa’s summer menu

Here is everything joining Costa’s new menu from tomorrow:

  • KitKat muffin – from £2.25

Plus, there's a new range of gingerbread biscuits shaped like cars and dogs that cost £2 each.

However, you could save cash on animal-themed gingerbread by shopping at Sainsbury's were similar snacks only cost 80p.

Costa is introducing some new savoury dishes to the menu too from tomorrow, such as the chicken and bacon Caesar salad, which costs £4.

Of course, you could save 60p on your Caesar salad by heading to McDonald's but you'll get more choice at Costa.

A Greek feta and quinoa salad is being added to the menu too for the same price.

The treats will be available to pick up in branches from tomorrow -you can find your closest cafe with the locator tool.

The prices of each of the items may vary between branches though.

You can also get the goodies delivered to your door through Uber Eats but it will cost you an extra £2.30 for delivery.

But the chain is also offering a chance to make a saving with new breakfast deals.

Customers who buy a medium or large drink before 11am can pick up either a plain croissant or toast for just £1.

Alternatively, you can nab a bacon bap, sausage bap, or egg and mushroom bap, for just £2 in the deal.

But you might want to think twice before rushing to purchase your caffeine fix, as giving up a daily takeaway coffee can save you £1,007 each year.

Some customers had already vowed not to return to the coffee giant though when they found out Costa had quietly hiked prices and was pocketing VAT relief.
