Coronation Street’s Daisy star Charlotte Jordan’s life off screen including rarely-seen boyfriend

She’s been on our screens for the last two years as Weatherfield’s Daisy Midgeley but away from the soap, Charlotte Jordan lives a drama-free life.

The actress's life is world’s away from her character’s who arrived on Coronation Street in 2020.

Daisy is the step-daughter of Jenny Connor, the landlady at the Rovers. She’s also found love with teacher Daniel Osbourne, who lost his wife to cancer after she birthed their baby son.

Things have taken a turn for the worst though, as bride-to-be Daisy has now been targeted by a stalker named Justin. It’s rumoured that his fixation will become so intense that Daisy is set to become a victim of a nasty acid attack.

Away from the screen, the actress lives a far less turbulent life and regularly updates fans with her day over on Instagram.

She is in a happy relationship with her boyfriend Paul and often shares snippets of the two of them together. In a post at Christmas the couple beamed at the camera as Charlotte donned a Santa hat and her boyfriend cradled their French bulldog.

“We’ve had Olive eleven months and eight days so as you can see I’ve been third wheeling for eleven months and eight days”, she captioned the post.

In another sweet post for Valentine’s Day, Charlotte shared her clear love for the little Frenchie, writing: “My valentine, sorry Paul," alongside a picture of the dog looking cosy in a furry jacket and sitting on a bench outside of a coffee shop.

She’s also shared several pictures of her hanging out with her co-stars away from the cobbles.

Last year she attended the Haydock Races alongside Faye Brookes, Lucy Fallon and Ellie Leach (who plays Fate Windass on the show) out to the races for the day.

In a cute collage, the pair showed off their pearly whites for the camera as they stood in a VIP bay at the Haydock Racecourse in Wigan.

In other snaps, she showed off her great relationship with her on-screen fiancé Daniel, played by Rob Mallard.

The pair pouted and smiled in selfies taken at the Soap Awards.

Charlotte has previously revealed how she nearly didn’t become an actor.

Speaking with the Metro, she revealed how she had been scouted to be part of a pop band created by Simon Fuller and Geri Halliwell.

She said: "It was a development deal, which means we spent a lot of time bonding, doing choreography and recording songs in the studio – sometimes cool songs, sometimes naff songs. You just try to find your sound.”
