Colin Firth’s ex-wife Livia posts campy photo for actor’s 60th

Still the best of pals.

Despite announcing their separation last year, Colin Firth and ex-wife Livia Giuggioli seem to be on very good terms.

On Thursday, in honor of the Oscar winner’s 60th birthday, Livia posted a campy photo of the actor dressed in one of Elton John’s more flamboyant costumes.

Alongside the picture, she wrote: “60th and not feeling it. happy birthday to the best partner in crime ever (for the last 25 years and counting) (this is when Colin stole [an] Elton John costume on the Kingsmen set …”

Firth married Italian producer’s assistant turned producer Giuggioli, 51, in 1997. They share two sons, Luca and Matteo. (Firth also has a son from a previous relationship with Meg Tilly).

In December 2019, the couple announced that they were splitting after 22 years of marriage.

“Colin and Livia Firth have separated. They maintain a close friendship and remain united in their love for their children,” the pair said in a statement. “They kindly ask for privacy. There will be no further comment.”

Their breakup came almost two years after Livia confessed to having a relationship with a “childhood friend turned stalker” while the couple were broken up for a brief period in 2016.

“A few years ago Colin and Livia privately made the decision to separate. During that time Livia briefly became involved with former friend [Marco] Brancaccia. The Firths have since reunited,” the couple said in a statement in March 2018.

“Subsequently, Mr. Brancaccia carried out a frightening campaign of harassment over several months, much of which is documented. For obvious reasons, the Firths have never had any desire to make this matter public.”

Brancaccia, an Italian journalist, was investigated by Rome police after Giuggioli alleged that he sent naked photos of her to Firth. In July 2018, she dropped the stalking charges and agreed on a private settlement.

Reps didn’t comment.
