Bill Murray to throw first pitch of the season for Athletes Unlimited softball league

Bill Murray and Curtis Granderson will throw out first pitches at the final games of pro softball league Athletes Unlimited’s season on Monday, we hear.

Stars who’ve thrown first pitches from home this season have included Natalie Portman, Billie Jean King, Abby Wambach, Amy Robach and Sen. Tammy Duckworth. Co-founded by Jon Patricof, Athletes Unlimited has 57 of the world’s top female players, with an advisory board including Kevin Durant, Rich Kleiman, Caroline Wozniacki, Taylor Rooks and ex-USTA head Katrina Adams.

The games air on CBS Sports Network. Page Six reported earlier this week that Murray is in a whacky legal feud with classic rockers the Doobie Brothers, who’ve alleged that the star used the band’s music in ads for his golf shirt line without permission.
