Gin derives its predominant flavour from juniper berries and is a distilled alcoholic drink that originated as a medicinal liquor. It has been around for hundreds of years and is popular as a cocktail base too. But instead of drinking actual gin, an increasing number of shoppers are now shunning the alcohol element in favour of something a little lighter.
‘Clean gin’ as it is known as, has all the bursting flavor of normal gin and is still traditionally distilled but without the hangover or high calorie intake that some alcoholic drinks have.

Their alcohol free Gin has 0.0% alcohol but has the same vibrant authentic taste and apparently the special recipe they used to create it is a closely guarded secret!
They even have other flavours of their alcohol-free gin collection including pink gin, dry gin, lemon gin, white peach and more. Gordon’s recommend to enjoy your gin just as you would your normal G & T by pouring 50 ml over ice with your chosen tonic and garnish. Then simply sit, sip and enjoy!

And achieve that he did, with the Clean G being their hero Gin drink that has become widely popular.
Clean G bases its taste on a classic London dry gin and has no sugar or sweeteners with a perfect balance of botanicals.
The alcohol volume is just 1.2% and it is also lactose free, gluten free as well as vegan. We also think the bottle looks pretty stylish too!
4. Caleño Light

Although not officially called a gin, the Caleno Light has a strong sense of it with its mix of Juniper berries, which are classically used to make normal gin.
They also include 10 other botanicals with no artificial colours, sugar or sweeteners. It has a zingy fresh taste with only 39 calories per 100ml and zero alcohol- meaning you can definitely indulge in more than one for your evening out. Just add ice!
5. Sea Arch Alcohol-free Gin

Inspired by the glorious Devon coastline, Sea Arch is a great alternative for people who are a gin devotee.
One fan cites it as ‘a great taste and clean fresh flavour’ while it is made using traditional distillation techniques.
It even includes infusions of sea kelp, samphire, blood orange along with classic Juniper for that refreshing gin taste. Suitable for vegans we think it makes a great summers drink or a classic mocktail. Ima-gin that!

Its notes are described as citrusy, herbal with sweet spices and a warm woody finish which we think sounds delicious!
7. Ceder's Wild Non-Alcoholic Spirit

Originating from Sweden, but inspired by the Cape mountains in South Africa, Ceder's Wild Gin gives an infusion of juniper, clove and rooibos to your glass. Gin devotees will have their taste buds satisfied with this invigorating beverage and they recommend adding tonic, a slice of grapefruit, and a sprig of basil for the ultimate finish.
8. Salcombe Distilling Co 'New London Light'
