Bargain hunters discover £7 skincare organising drawers that ‘make the best Christmas gift’

We're just about in December now, which means Christmas shopping is on all of our agendas. However, with money a little tight this year, you may be looking for gifts that give a luxury look but without a luxury price tag. If that's the case, let us introduce you to one item that every beauty lover will be obsessed with. And the best news? You can get it for under a tenner with a shopper-approved hack.

The deal was first shouted about the other week by a user in Facebook's Extreme Couponing & Bargains UK group, who wrote: Can't believe I was able to get a skincare organiser with drawers for £7.29. Been looking at these for a while as they're great Christmas presents."

She then goes on to explain how she managed to get the item at a bargain price: "First time buying on TikTok Shop to get this price. If you type in skincare or make-up organisers with drawers, it'll come up."

To use TikTok shop, you can shop through the app on your phone after you've logged in or signed up. It's very easy to find, simply head to the 'shop' tab that sits next to the 'home' one on the bottom of your screen. You can then search for the exact product you're after, or check out good deals that are currently trending based on your interests algorithm.

If you're not keen to use TikTok to shop, there's still a way you can nab the pretty storage piece at a discount. Temu is selling a Luxury Cosmetic Storage Box for £20.48 here (currently on sale from £31.29). Amazon also stocks plenty of different options for all price points, but the most similar we can see is the Multi-Function Make-up Case Dustproof Cosmetic Storage Box, £33.99 here.

Other Facebook users from the group have been quick to tag in their friends who may also be interested in shopping the organiser.

One writes: "I got my husband to become a member of TikTok for this reason!"

Another adds: "It's a good price but the postage is a joke so it makes it more expensive" – making Amazon and Temu's versions more affordable.

"I've ordered one and I can't wait for it to arrive," comments a third.

So, what can you actually use your bargain buy for once it arrives? Amazon explains that it can be used to store make-up and skincare so that all of your products are easily accessible. You can put all the tall bottles like lotions, essences, sprays and foundation into the top layer, while the second layer is a good size for placing cosmetics like eyeshadow, blush, setting powder, bronzer and highlighter.
