Ariana Grande Just Teased Another Song

OK, we haven’t even had the time to recover from “Thank u, next” and Ariana Grande is already teasing MORE MUSIC! Seriously, IDK how this girl has all the energy, but she is doing the damn thing.

So last night while you were thinking of ways to insert “Thank you, next, b*tch” into every conversation, Ariana fully moved on and started promoting a new tune called “Imagine.” She tweeted the Chinese characters for the song title along with a black heart emoji before announcing it would drop on Thursday. On Instagram, she started a countdown and gave everyone the nifty idea to set a reminder so they don’t forget. Though, I’m sure she’ll remind us every few hours until it finally comes out.

Ariana didn’t share too, too many details about the song, but just know it isn’t a John Lennon cover. She wrote, “A lot of this album mourns failed yet important, beautiful relationships in my life (as well as celebrates growth/exploring new independence).” Then she added, “But for those of you asking about imagine: i would say if ‘thank u next’ = acceptance…’imagine’ = denial. hope that makes sense.” Sure, whatever you say, girl! Just drop the song, please!

Even though Ariana continues to tease her new work and her fans seem to love it, she told Billboard that it’s not really what she wants to do. She got candid and said:

When she puts it that way, it makes total sense why she continues to do the teasers and hypes up her new music so much—she basically has to. Hopefully she’s able to get to the point where she feels like she can just drop music whenever she wants to sooner rather than later.
