Easter bank holidays have finally arrived in the UK, meaning a glorious four-day weekend. Families will be allowed to meet up in gardens across the UK for the first time in months, adding an extra sparkle to the indulgent break. But with some Covid restrictions still in place, this Easter will likely be very different to previous years.

If you’re still looking to go food shopping, you can still pop out to grab some last-minute Easter supplies, however.

The ‘stay at home’ message has been lifted across England, but there are still a number of Covid restrictions still in place.

There’s the return of the Rule of 6 for outdoor settings, but you should still minimise travel wherever possible.

Express.co.uk has compiled all of the weekend’s opening hours for Aldi this bank holiday.

What time is Aldi open this bank holiday weekend?

Aldi has helpfully laid out a rough guide to its opening times over the bank holiday weekend.

But if you’re thinking of heading out to your local Aldi, it’s always a good idea to check your store’s opening hours using the store finder as some shops have individual opening times.

The stores will be open with their usual opening times throughout the week, ahead of the weekend.

On Good Friday, the supermarket plans to close slightly earlier than normal, however.

Shoppers hoping to explore Aldi will get the chance between 8am and 8pm on Good Friday.

The following day, Saturday, isn’t a bank holiday in the UK, and Aldi will be open from the usual time.

However, this weekend is also East Sunday, which means most retail shops across the country will be closed.

Aldi is no exception, and all supermarkets will be closed for the duration of Easter Sunday.

Easter Monday will be the final bank holiday day of the long weekend.

Aldi stores will largely follow a similar pattern to Good Friday, meaning they’ll be open for the majority of the day.

The stores are expected to remain open between the hours of 8am and 8pm.

But, as always, it’s a good idea to check the store locator before heading out to the shops.

The government’s ‘stay at home’ order was lifted at the end of last month, but you should still only venture out for essential shopping.

You can only meet up with five other people in outdoor spaces, or two households.

Indoor mixing between households is still completely banned and should be avoided, the government has urged.

If you go into a Sainsbury’s this weekend, you should also still remember to wear a face covering, unless you’re exempt.
