Woman makes stunning garden corner sofa out of old pallets and a few nails… plus her trusty pink hammer

FORGET having to fork out for expensive garden furniture as a woman showed how she made a stylish corner sofa in her garden for next to nothing.

The savvy homeowner said she found old pallets lying around her neighbourhood and put them together without too much effort.

The finished result looked extremely chic, and was decorated with fairy lights.

Taking to the Facebook group Extreme Couponing and Bargains UK, she wrote: “Pallet corner sofa. Not bad for a second hand made project.

“Built with 6 pallets few nails and a girls best friend a pink hammer.”

Many people were highly impressed and one person asked if the sofa was difficult to achieve.

The woman explained: “Not at all … two armature girls . Both have never made anything out of anything before.

“Kinda of made it like a jigsaw if if fitted we nailed it.”

She said she used six pallets in total and they were found “laying around locally.”

Her DIY project has racked up nearly 5,000 likes, with people saying they wanted to achieve the look in their own homes.

One person said: “This is beautiful.”
