Woman gives swimsuit she wore during a SHARK attack glowing 10/10 review after it ‘escaped unscathed’
WITH summer around the corner and lockdown restrictions easing, it’s finally time to invest in some swimwear again.
So if you were hunting for a swimming costume to see you through the next few months, look no further than this J-Crew number – which survived a shark attack.
A woman, called Jessica, left a glowing review for the black one-piece, after dramatically revealing the bathing suit emerged unscathed after a shark tried to take a chunk out of her back.
Jessica left the five-star review on the website, saying: “Survived shark attack in one piece”.
She shared photos of her back, which was red and bruised after the brush with the beast in South Carolina, along with the halter-neck costume, which looks as good as new.
Jessica wrote: “I loved this bathing suit from the moment I tried it on, super comfortable and very flattering, but a recent experience took my appreciation to a new level.
“I was swimming off the coast of South Carolina when I had an unexpected visitor take a swipe at my lower back – a shark.
“Despite leaving a huge bruise and red teeth marks on my skin, the bathing suit escaped unscathed. 10/10 would recommend.”
The website described the number, made from polyamide/elastane, as ‘always ready to take the plunge’.
And if you are too, the swimming costume can be yours for £71 ($98), although its shark-repelling abilities are priceless.
The unbelievable review was spotted by another shopper, called Amy Leigh, who shared it on Twitter, saying: “This is absolutely what I’m looking for in a bathing suit review.”
The post has since gone viral, racking up thousands of shares.
