Walter Van Beirendonck Hopes to Save the Planet Earth With Latest Release

Belgian designer Walter Van Beirendonck is no stranger to outlandish designs. After releasing a 3D bear sweatshirt and a pair of spike-covered sneakers last month, the Antwerp Six member has now dropped his Save Planet Earth Morph Mask.

Known for finding inspiration in everything from music to, Van Beirendonck has turned his attention to nature and our planet. Crafted using a technical fabrication in a stretch-jersey weave, the mask features an oversized flower print alongside the letters “WAR” which stand for “Walter About Rights”.

With cut-out eye panels that comprise padding behind the cheek, plus a concealed zip-fastening closure, this modern-styled face mask is as striking as it is expertly crafted.

Walter Van Beirendonck’s Save Planet Earth Morph Mask is available to buy now from the LN-CC webstore, retailing at £170 (approximately $220 USD).

In other news, Richardson has referenced war rugs and propaganda for FW20.
