Vicky Pattison tests out Beyonce's new Ivy Park sporty streetwear

I LOVE Beyonce. She is super-sexy and looks banging in anything.

So when I got the chance to try her latest Adidas x Ivy Park collection, Icy Park, I thought: “Why not be Queen Bey for the day?”

But I soon found this sporty streetwear collection is not for the faint-hearted.

My actual words were: “WTF?!”

This kit is not what I would usually wear to work out. But Bey’s fans seem to love it.

Searches for the collection spiked 536 per cent in the past week, says fashion app Lyst. So maybe Bey is on to a winner.

But just how practical is it? I put five looks to the test and scored each out of ten.

  • Latte-printed sheer panel leggings, £75; bodysuit, £62; scarf, £100; white trainers, £120 (worn throughout)

I FEEL like a cross between Cruella de Vil, a chocolate bar and a personal trainer.

The scarf made me feel like I’m going to a prom. The body would look good with a pencil skirt for a night on the lash, though it might give you a wedgie as it’s a thong back.

I’m just a little confused about the outfit as a whole. Not for me.

  • Pink top, £70; pink leggings, £70

THIS is probably the most “me” of them all. It’s really nice material and super-comfy.

It sucks me in at the right places and, with handy holes for your thumbs, is good for runners.

The bright colour is quite a lot for me – very “Eighties ski bunny”.

I would wear the leggings and the top but maybe not together.

You certainly wouldn’t fade into the background wearing this.

  • Blue bodysuit with long sleeves, short style, £110

I FEEL like I’m part of the Swiss bobsleigh team for the Winter Olympics wearing this.

It is a bit short for my liking. You would have to be really body-confident to wear it.

It was a bit of a struggle to get on. It feels like a mother’s hug!

And it kept riding up, which wasn’t fun.

  • Pink logo newsprinted crop top, £63; newsprinted leggings, £70

I LOVE the print – a modern take on old newspaper mash-ups, which is really cool.

Personally I wouldn’t wear this but some people would totally rock it.

The quality is amazing and there is some good support here on the top for a lass with some quite big ladies – and that is no mean feat.

The leggings do have some potential for rolldown, though.

  • White fluffy hat, £55; white bodysuit, £120

I WOULDN’T wear this for a workout. There is nip-slip potential and you might give away even more – the outfit is so tight you could almost see my nether regions.

I’m not sure anyone over 25 would wear this. But the hat is lovely and warm. On the right person, this would look banging.
