The Queen matches Kate Middleton in duck egg coat to attends Easter Service on birthday

The Royal Family gathered in Windsor today to attend the Easter Sunday service at St George’s Chapel.  The Queen arrived wearing a duck egg blue coat and matching hat and she attended the service on her 93rd birthday.  The coat featured a structured top and a pleated bottom half and it cut off just below the knee.  Looking ready for Spring, she matched Kate Middleton, 37, who wore a pastel blue coat and grey hat.

Other members of the family appeared wearing light colours as they enjoyed the sun at the event in the Lower Ward of Windsor Caste.

The Queen wore a textured coat with a matching hat as she made her way to the service.

The outfit was given a pop of colour with a fuchsia bow wrapped around her hat, which had pink flowers at the front.

She styled the look with a pair of pearl earrings as she was spotted speaking with the priest.

The Queen finished her look off with black mules which had a small heel.

The Queen attends the service each year on Easter Sunday with other members of her family before it is believed they spend the afternoon at her house.

This year, Easter Sunday also falls on her 93rd birthday, making the occasion even more special.

Other guests at today’s service included Prince Harry, 34, Prince William, 36, and Kate Middleton, 37.

Kate wore a pastel blue coat which cut off just above the knee and matched them with a grey hat.

She had on a pair of suede light brown shoes and a diamond broach pinned to her jacket.

Kate joins the family just days ahead of Prince Louis’ first birthday, where it is believed the family will spend it at home.

Louis was born on 23 April 2018 and is the younger brother of Prince George, five, and Princess Charlotte, three.

Kate has kept a low profile over the last couple of weeks as she is believed to be spending time with her family.

During the school holidays, Kate and Will often take time off to spend as a family and have been known to travel during this time in the past.

More recently, the royals have used their break to spend time with the family at home.
