Poundland have a new range of £3 paints to glow up your home during lockdown – & they’ve been compared to Farrow & Ball – The Sun

WHEN Boris Johnson confirmed the rumours of a second lockdown lasting for a month, the nation let out a collective groan.

But there's a silver lining to the situation, as millions of Brits are bound to have a lot more free time to finally get around to those long-overdue home improvement projects.

Luckily, giving your home a glow up doesn't have to cost a bomb thanks to Poundland's new range of paints.

A Poundland shopper noticed the new paint range in his local store and shared a snap of the discovery to the Facebook group Extreme Couponing and Bargains UK.

He wrote: "Saw these today in Poundland, Pisea, Essex. 1ltr for £3. Colours are on point."

The new collection includes a range of fabulous colours including teal, mustard yellow, pebble grey, magnolia, brilliant white and green velvet.

The one litre pots are priced at £3 each – not a bad price for a colourful statement wall.

Other shoppers have since commented on the Facebook post.

One woman mused: "I was debating getting the green velvet yesterday for a feature wall. Anybody know how good they are?"

Another answered: "Well they're basing their packaging on Farrow and Ball. That doesnt say great things to me."

Poundland's ultra-cheap paint range does indeed resemble the expensive Farrow and Ball paint cans in design.

Meanwhile you'd be forgiven for thinking the teal and mustard colours belonged in a Farrow and Ball catalogue.

There's one big difference – Poundland's offering is £26 cheaper.
