Newlyweds mortified after mother-in-law gifts them a sculpture of their proposal with a VERY rude design flaw
FROM picking out the perfect engagement ring to choosing a meaningful location to get down on one knee, there's no denying that an awful lot of preparation goes into a proposal.
But despite getting every aspect of his proposal bang on, one husband-to-be has been left red-faced after his mother-in-law ordered a sculpture of the moment he asked her daughter to marry him – and it features a VERY rude design flaw.

Sharing a photo of their, erm, touching engagement present on the Awkward Family Photos Instagram account, the husband-to-be wrote: "My mother-in-law thought it was a good idea to get a sculpture of this beautiful moment."
Like something straight out of a rom-com, the anonymous American couple got engaged in a stunning public park and – based on the bride's delighted body language – it came as a total surprise.
However, the romance of it all has been lost in the questionable recreation thanks to the unfortunate placement of the groom's arm.
On the one hand, the gold silhouette has perfectly captured the bride's delight and joy – and even recreated how she covered her mouth in surprise when her partner popped the question.
Unfortunately, the groom has ended up looking extremely well-endowed as the artist incorporated his strangely placed arm (and comically limp wrist) into the silhouette.
Needless to say, the page's 690,000 followers had a field day with the design fail – and joked that this was the only reason his bride said yes.
"She's gasping at the sight of that… engagement ring," one wrote.
Another added: "Well damn, I bet she said yes!"
A third replied: "Well this is unfortunate…"
Meanwhile, another helpfully recommended: "Cut off the hand and it's cute."
