Mums are loving B&M's £7 'walking in a winter wonderland' Christmas tree skirt – and it's got a fetching fur trim

IT IS the perfect way to make your fir – fake or real – stand out, as well as catch pesky needles, hide wiring from lights, and provide a place for pets to nest.

The Christmas tree skirt is fast becoming the hit of this festive season – and now B&M is selling a chic option for just £7.

Taking to Instagram today, the bargain store announced that it had launched the fetching grey felt must-have product which comes with a luxurious faux fur trim.

Adding to the festive spirit, the 'skirt' – which can easily be slipped around a tree's trunk – comes emblazoned with 'walking in a winter wonderland' in stylish white lettering.

Captioning an image of the item, they wrote: "Walking in a winter wonderland!

"Felt Tree Skirt With Fur Trim only £6.99."

This is lush.

The post quickly garnered more than 2.4k 'likes' and over a hundred comments.

One person wrote: "This is lush."

Another commented: "Love this."

And a fourth shared: "Saw this in store it's gorgeous."

It comes as mums wowed when they used £12 fluffy white rugs from Amazon to create fake snow at the bottom of their tree.

The 'skirt' not only gives the appearance of a white Christmas without any of the melting, but you can also hide presents in the fluffy fabric.
