What the Five Phases of Love Mean to Her

When it comes to being in love, Trufino has a tip for maintaining a special spark through every stage of life. “I think all of the different phases of a relationship are really special and you need time to digest all of them,” she dishes. “I remember wanting to stay engaged for a while before I got married so I could really immerse myself in that phase before exploring a new one. … This collection represents that you should immerse and enjoy all of the beautiful things each phase has to offer and then when you feel like another emotion is on the horizon, it’s time to move up a step,” she shares. “It’s romantic way to move through love.”

Why Jewelry Makes the Best Valentine’s Day Gift

Picking out the perfect V-Day gift can be a daunting task, but Trufino recommends you say everything you want to say with jewels. “Sometimes the most powerful way to say something is to say nothing at all and show it,” she explains. “Let the diamonds do the talking. … Jewelry is something that you can keep forever, pass down and something that will outlast the test of time and hold meaning and value,” she explains. “You really cannot top a beautiful piece of jewelry to gift on any occasion and it says that your significant other is a queen in your eyes.”

Who the ERTH Girl is to Her

The ultimate ERTH customer is someone who is down-to-earth according to Trufino. “She is real, she is practical, she is rational,” the designer explains. “She invests in 14k gold pieces to wear and never take off, to pass down to her daughters, to swim the oceans of the earth in, to be barefoot and salty, but still glistening in fine jewelry.” As for why A-listers can’t stop wearing her pieces? “ERTH is thoughtful, delicate and feminine, and includes classic staples that are easy to wear,” she dishes.

Why the Feeling Behind Jewelry is What’s Most Important

As for those staple pieces, Trufino says the sentiment behind the jewelry is what is most significant. “In 2019 we are focusing on jewelry that holds the sentiment of the woman wearing it,” she explains. “We want to create jewelry that someone can be inspired by everyday and that is an extension of their personality and emotional life.“
