Make-up artist transforms herself into Tiger King’s Joe Exotic & Carole Baskin on lockdown & the resemblance is uncanny

A MAKE-UP artist has stunned Tiger King fans after transforming herself into the infamous characters of Joe Exotic and Carole Baskin.

Talented beauty expert Liss Lacao, from Kent, uploaded photos and TikTok videos of the process, and fans say the finished result looks exactly like the real people.

Liss, who has been a make-up artist for five years, told Fabulous that the transformations into the two Netflix stars took seven and a half hours in total during lockdown.

She said: “I loved the Tiger King documentary as the whole series and how it all unfolded is crazy.

“Although it’s upsetting about the animals, the story line was so unbelievable it was almost funny!

“I chose those faces to make myself over as it’s what captured my attention the most, and after watching them on tv for a while I found it easy to recreate.”

Liss said that infamous Joe Exotic, who is now in jail for 22 years for conspiring to kill Carole Baskin, as well as a string of animal abuse charges, took three and a half hours to do.

The make-up artist, who posts under @liss_makeup_, said: “For me transformation makeup is easier to transform into a man’s face.

“You can make the features stronger with contour and it stands out more.

“The Carole Baskin actually took longer and was around four hours.”

Many fans were highly impressed with her transformations, and she has racked up thousands of likes on Instagram from her 13,900 followers.

One person wrote: “That’s amazing wtf.”

Another added: “wow blown away by your talent.”

And one raved: “Insane!! So talented.”

Liss added: “I’ve been a makeup artist professionally for the past five years but I started face painting and make-up when I was around 12 for fun, and helping at school fairs.

“It grew into almost an obsession that I love and passionate about and I’m lucky to have a job that I love.”

Joe Exotic claimed to be the most prolific breeder of tigers in the USA and despite insisting that he was working for the conservation of these endangered animals, his new Netflix documentary highlights why many didn't trust his words.

He soon came under scrutiny for his treatment of the animals by Big Cat Rescue owner Carole Baskin – a self-proclaimed animal rights activist.

As Carole began to succeed in her quest to prevent him from breeding the big Cats, frustrated Joe reportedly plotted to kill her, an act that would later come back to haunt him.

We shared how Joe Exotic’s former producer claims Tiger King star was ‘terrified’ of his big cats and ‘freaked out over a peacock’.

People are now giving themselves Tiger King manicures to beat lockdown boredom featuring Joe Exotic and Carole Baskin.
