I've got two toddlers and have already spent thousands on their Christmas haul – people say it's too much | The Sun

A MUM has sparked backlash after revealing the enormous haul of presents she's bought her two toddlers for Christmas.

She took to the Christmas Mums Australia group on Facebook to share a look at the massive pile of gifts – all of which she's already wrapped.

In the caption, she revealed she's got a three-year-old and a 17-month-old, and has already bought them more than 40 gifts.

Among the presents was a Nintendo Switch console and five games – which alone would cost nearly £400 – as well as a bowling set, Lego, kitchen play set and bowling set.

"After clearing out their toy room earlier this year from all the more 'baby toys' they were left with books, mega blocks, couple puzzles and soft toys from family," she explained as she attempted to justify why she had bought so many presents.

"This is my third year as a mum for Christmas.

"First year was books, second year was books and some learning cards/puzzles. I've always done something small."

And now she's gone big for Christmas, she's feeling "super excited" about celebrating the festive season with her kids.

She also added that she spreads the cost of the haul across the year.

Her post sparked backlash from some people who insisted she'd done "too much" for her kids for the holidays.
