I'm a size 8-10 and did a modest swimwear haul from Target – the floral one-piece has forgiving ruching and sucks me in | The Sun

A SUMMER-READY woman's modest swimwear haul from Target has resulted in just one being a stand-out winner.

A size 8-10, she was unimpressed with the other swimsuits, which she said were not very flattering.

But her favorite floral number was very complimentary thanks to some well-placed ruching that sucked her in.

Elizabeth's (@honestlyelizabeth) no-nonsense, straightforward reviews have won her a lot of fans.

At the last count, she had over 179,000 followers and another 963,000 likes.

Her TikTok remit is all about “Makeup, fashion, hair, travel, and girl talk.” But in this post, it was her Target swimwear haul that was the object of her focus.

“Let’s do a modest swimwear try-on from Target," she announced before parading each of her four choices.

The first out of the bag, a blueberry color with a cut out just below the cleavage, did not fair so well. "Okay, I really thought I was gonna love this one, I just don’t," she said.

“I love the color. I just don't like this really high, large bottom half, shorter top half. I just don't think it’s very flattering," she wrote.

Next came a swimsuit with a cherry red bottom with a contrasting tangerine top with a slit below the cleavage. It was not a winner as far as she was concerned.

Elizabeth thought this one was unflattering too. "I feel I don’t want to be able to see the outline of my stomach, my belly button through a bathing suit."

It was a very different one-piece she tried next, a botanic print on a green background with a scoop neckline, and she liked this one.

“This one I really like. I actually think it’s super cute. It has some ruching right there, so I think it’s forgiving in this area," she said indicating her midriff."And it also is really sucking me in."

"It’s regularly $40, but it’s on sale for $28 right now. It has really great tummy control. It’s holding the girls up really well here."

The last number was a floral print on a black background but with a plunging neckline that left little to the imagination.

"This was hanging on the hanger and it didn’t look like it was. I thought it was more modest, there’s no support. None, no support here. I mean, it’s cute, [but] it’s just not what I’m looking for."

There was only one winner for Elizabeth. "I think for me I’m gonna keep this one," she declared of the green botanic print number.

She paired it up with a loose yellow top. “I have this cover-up already. I think it’s a win," she said, looking satisfied with her decision.

Commenters were in agreement with her choice.

“I like the green floral on you. Looks great and the color is really flattering on you," said this viewer.

The final remark backed it up too: “Definitely loved the one you decide to keep. Looks amazing and love the cover-up too.”
