I took pictures in different shop changing rooms to show how different lighting makes you look, don’t trust the mirrors | The Sun

A WOMANdemonstrated how the lighting in shop changing rooms can dramatically change how your body looks in the mirrors.

Influencer Bree Lenehan, who speaks out about positive body imageafter battling an eating disorder, posted a series of photos showing the difference between different fitting rooms on the same day.

The 25-year-old business owner from Australia shared the snaps with her 656,000 Instagram followers.

In the caption, she said: "It can be a confronting and confusing experience trying on clothes.

"Seeing yourself so exposed, under harsh lighting, with mirrors showing so many angles that you usually don't see yourself in.

"This was one of the triggers I had years ago that made me suddenly want to 'start a new d!et'… Fitting rooms would tear any confidence I had left to shreds.
