Beauty fans reveal cheap products getting them through lockdown- including £1 fake nails that are 'better than acrylics'
TAKE a few deep breaths beauty fans – because now we're in lockdown again, we expect it'll be a fair few weeks (maybe even MONTHS) before we get back in the salon again.
And we know for a fact that we're not the only ones kicking ourselves for not getting a manicure, hair cut, spray tan and highlights back in December while we still could.
But until we can safely go get our nails done and our roots touched up again, beauty fans have been sharing the hero products that are getting them through lockdown.
And the best part is, they cost a fraction of what you'd pay for the professional treatments.
£1 fake nails that are 'better than acrylics'
Just because we've gone into lockdown again, that doesn't mean your nails should suffer.
TikTok user Mia Wootton couldn't live without her Primark fake nails and always has a few back-ups knocking around her bathroom.
During the first lockdown last year, Mia shared a video where she applied the brand's budget-friendly ombre fake nails – and claimed they lasted longer than a professional manicure.
She wrote: "£1 PRIMARK NAILS BETTER THAN ACRYLICS!!! GALS SAVE YOUR COIN."
When quizzed about the false nails in the comments, Mia said her bargain Primark nails regularly stay in place for two weeks and claimed that her salon even uses the brand's glue.

In response, another fan gushed: "They've even lasted me through nights out – which acrylics don't do."
"100% agree," a third wrote. "I love them so much!"
Restorative 99p shampoo and conditioner
Having super sleek hair is one of the things we miss most about the salon during lockdown.
But TikTok user Lily Thompstone claims Home Bargains' 99p shampoo and conditioner makes her hair just as soft and smooth.
Praising Anovia's coconut range, Lily said: "[This is] the BEST shampoo and conditioner that will save your hair."
Infused with coconut water, this bargain-friendly shampoo and conditioner promises to nourish dry and damaged locks.
Sharing impressive before-and-after photos, she added: "It leaves your hair so soft, smooth and shiny!!"
What's more, you can also pick up the products for just £1.19 in The Range – and unsurprisingly, it shot straight to the top of Lily's followers' wishlists.
"Totally agree," one wrote. "It's amazing."
"Home Bargains brining the goods again," another added.
B&M blow dry brush for instant salon worthy hair
We may not have much planned over the next few months – but that doesn't mean we'll stop styling our hair altogether.
Last month, one TikTok user praised Elle's £17 magic hot air styler – which gives a salon-worthy blow dry for a fraction of the price.
Giving fans a tutorial, she wrote: “Using my blowdry brush from B&M this time on wet hair as requested!!”
Not only does the bargain tool dry her hair, it also creates soft waves that look like they've been professionally styled.
The video has racked up over 92,000 "likes" – and needless to say, other beauty fans are desperate to get their hand on the budget tool.
"OMG I want," one follower replied.
Another said: "I need this!!"
£2.50 'concealer goals'

There's no denying that our everyday makeup routine is much more minimal than it was this time last year.
But when we still fancy a bit of coverage, beauty fans are raving about Primark's £2.50 stick concealer – which also doubles up as a foundation.
Makeup artist Bex Campbell posted a tutorial last month where she used the stick product to cover any dark circles under her eyes and brighten the skin.
When it was shared on the Primark Beauty Instagram page, others called it "concealer goals".
"This concealer is everything," another wrote. *Adds to bag*
