The Lumineers Share Rendition Of ‘Silent Night’ To Benefit Independent Venues

The Lumineers have released a music video for their rendition of Christmas classic “Silent Night” to benefit the National Independent Venue Association (NIVA) and its #SaveOurStages campaign.

The Association’s Emergency Relief Fund is being raised to save the music industry’s most important stages during the ongoing pandemic.

“Venues have gone silent all across the country and world because of the pandemic. Hope is on the horizon, and we believe we’ll be playing again in 2021. But independent venues need our help to survive that long,” The Lumineers said in a statement.

The folk rock band added, “Don’t let the venues remain silent forever – SAVE OUR STAGES. When you stream our song “Silent Night” all proceeds will go towards supporting the National Independent Venue Association.”

Wesley Schultz and Lauren Jacobson sing the Lumineers version of the 19th century classic Christmas carol, while Jeremiah Fraites plays piano.
