Strictly Come Dancing host Tess Daly took to social media yesterday after unearthing an old photograph at home. In the snap, which she shared with her 771,000 Instagram followers, the fresh faced TV star could be seen cosying up to her husband Vernon Kay.
The 52-year-old went on to reveal that she was pregnant with her first child when the picture was taken.
The couple, who tied the knot in 2003, are now parents to Phoebe, 16, and Amber, 12.
Tess, who would have been about 35 when the picture was taken, wore her blonde tresses loose with a fringe, while her spouse sported his trademark long dark locks.
“Flashback to these young things!” Tess captioned the snap.
“Who would have thought I was pregnant with my eldest who’s 17 in a few weeks! Time flies,” she went on to say.
Phoebe celebrates her birthday on October 17.
Many took to the comments section of the post including a host of Strictly stars.
Her co-presenter Claudia Winkleman and 2021 Strictly contestant Katie McGlynn posted love hearts next to the throwback snap.
Even Vernon, 47, took to the comments section of the post, to shine a light on the third person in the picture, who was only partially visible.
“@antonycotton That you??” he wrote online, tagging the Coronation Street actor into the picture.
On seeing the image, he hit back: “It is! Tess has well cut me off!!!”
To which Vernon posted several laughing emojis.
“Love this throwback,” said former Strictly star Katie Piper, while TV presenter Gethin Jones added: “Wow!”
“Baby,” fellow television personality Gabby Logan noted.
“You both never age the best couple in the world,” chipped in Instagram user johnstoneauthor.
“Both beautiful and still are,” added user aswegenhilaryvan.
Earlier in the week, Tess and Vernon headed to the Royal Albert Hall to watch the eagerly-anticipated new James Bond film.
The pair were dressed to impress when they walked the red carpet at the star-studded No Time To Die world premiere.
The mum-of-two put on a leggy display in an asymmetrical little black dress while her husband looked dapper in a black suit and tie.
“First red carpet event in a LONG time, with my very own 007,” Tess informed her fans following the event.
