Steph McGovern, 38, has shared a rare insight into her home life while opening up on her baby daughter’s current tendency to cause “chaos”. The Steph’s Packed Lunch host welcomed her little one with her partner in 2019.

The star, who rarely speaks about her private life, gave the update on Zoe Ball’s BBC Radio 2 Breakfast Show this morning.

The former BBC Breakfast presenter spoke out when Zoe quizzed: “How’s little bubba?”

The journalist then divulged that her daughter is getting into the habit of “grabbing everything” in their house, which can cause a bit of a mess.

Steph replied: “Yeah she’s good, she’s at that point now where she literally grabs everything.

“So we’ve just put all the little cupboard locks on because it’s chaos now.

“Every time I think a room’s tidy, I walk in two minutes later and it’s just chaos, my handbag is currently spread across the floor!”

Mum-of-two Zoe empathised with the star, replying: “Yep, exactly! 

“I remember it well, I remember all the things that get chewed from your handbag and you think, ‘I won’t be keeping those in there anymore’!”
