Stars pay emotional tributes to Ashley Cain’s baby daughter Azaylia after her tragic death aged eight months

Following the tragic news that Ashley Cain’s baby daughter Azaylia has died aged eight months following a leukaemia battle, tributes have began pouring in for the brave little girl.

Ashley, 30, shared the devastating news of his baby daughter’s death as he shared a picture of him holding her in his arms on Sunday.

The Ex On The Beach star wrote: “Rest In Paradise Princess. I will always hold you in my heart until I can hold you again in heaven. #AzayliaDiamondCain.”

His partner Safiyya Vorajee also shared a heartbreaking tribute to their baby girl with a sweet snap of Azaylia lovingly cradled in her arms wearing a baby pink fluffy bobble hat.

She wrote: "You are my Angel my heartbeat my soul, RIP my precious baby, you will always be with me like a handprint on my heart.”

Celebrities have taken to both Instagram and Twitter to share their condolences for the family of the little tot as they mourn the loss of their first child.

Geordie Shore star Marnie Simpson wrote: “I’m so sorry. My heart breaks for you all, sending so much strength and love to you all, heaven had gained a little darling angel baby.”

Stacey Solomon said: “Heartbreaking… I’m so sorry to every single child and parent who is suffering, has suffered and will never stop suffering.

“It is so cruel and so unfair. Rest in Paradise Azaylia.”

Love Island star Molly-Mae Hague wrote: “Heaven has gained the sweetest angel. My heart has broken.”

EastEnders star Jacqueline Jossa shared her heartbreak as she said: “I’m so sorry. Life is so unfair. Rest in peace you beautiful little girl."

Georgia Harrison also paid tribute as she wrote: "Love you so much her life may have been short but she inspired so many lives encouraging people to sign up for the donor list.

"She has done more for the world than most people will achieve in 70 years and you two have given her the strength to do so xxxx."

In The Style founder Adam Frisby commented: “I’m so sorry! You guys have given her everything you could. Just heartbroken for you. Rest in paradise beautiful Azaylia."

The public also shared tributes to Azaylia, with one user writing: "I feel like I'm grieving for a child I didn't even know. As I'm sure many people world wide are. Rest in peace Azaylia. You are such an amazing, beautiful little girl. Rest in paradise Angel."

Azaylia was diagnosed with a rare and aggressive form of leukaemia at just two months old at Birmingham Children's Hospital.

Despite multiple rounds of chemo and even a bone marrow transplant, the family were informed just two weeks ago that consultants thought she only had "days to live."

The family spent Azaylia's last days at their home together enjoying the little things in life such as watching TV together from bed and meeting extended family members.

The couple documented Azaylia's journey on social media, with millions of fans following her heartbreaking journey online.

Despite being so young, Azaylia's story affected people across the UK and wider after her story reached Dwayne 'The Rock' Johnson as he shared an emotional video to the little girl and her family.

Surrounded by family and friends, her parents made sure Azaylia was comfortable in her final days, as they slept by her side each day.
