Stacey Solomon, 31, has shown her toddler son Rex finally smiling again as he reunited with his beloved older brothers following a scary trip to the hospital.

The two-year-old had a nasty fall at home that led to him needing stitches on a cut on his face.

The worried Loose Women panellist kept her fans abreast of the news every step of the way, as the brave mum-of-three accompanied her son while he received treatment.

Stacey, who is pregnant with her fourth child, captioned an adorable picture of the three boys cuddled up to each other on their garden swing.

Shared in the evening after Rex had been released from hospital, Stacey captioned the post: “Back with his best friends.

“I know I’m extremely overtired right now but my hormones can’t take these three right now.

“That’s the biggest smile I’ve seen on his face all day,” the presenter continued. “You just wouldn’t even think any of today happened!

“We love you pickle bum,” the star finished.

“There really is no place like it.”

The expecting mum told fans earlier how “well” everything went for Rex in hospital.

“Everything went so well,” she shared in a grinning selfie with her little boy.

“We will be back home soon. Thank you for your lovely kind messages…

"Thank you to everyone here at @bhrut_nhs from giving birth here to fixing the pickles your staff and everyone who works so hard in your trust have always been so amazing.

“And I know first hand how busy and hard worked you all are.”

Stacey also said she was so “grateful” for the NHS and thanked the service and all that they do, as she declared “we are so lucky to have” it in the UK.
