Shaughna Phillips shares labour update after having two sweeps ahead of first baby
Pregnant Shaughna Phillips has shared a labour update as the Love Island star admitted she thought she was going to be induced a few days ago.
Shaughna, 28, has been documenting her pregnancy on her social media, as well as her weekly OK! column, and issued an update following her recent hospital dash.
The star went to seek medical attention after a rash spread across her bump.
Shaughna also went into labour early last week, but her due date isn’t for another 10 days.
Sharing a photo of her blossoming bump to her Instagram Story, mum-to-be Shaughna penned: “Thought I found a new stretch mark the other day but it turns out it was an imprint from my blankey.”
Issuing a labour update, she went on: “I’ve not updated you all because things were up in the air and I didn’t know what was happening myself, but I spent the night in hospital on Friday thinking I was going to be induced, but thankfully it wasn’t needed and I was able to come home and rest.
“I had a sweep on Sunday and had one this morning as well and things are definitely moving along nicely.”
“10 days until my due date so let's see if I last,” Shaughna concluded.
Following her hospital admission, Shaughna admitted that she “broke down” afterwards.

She candidly shared in her OK! column: “I was at a shoot on Monday getting my full glam done, and then I noticed that I had a rash on my leg, which I then realised had spread across my bump.
“We called 111 and were told to go to A&E, which was really scary, and whilst we were waiting for a taxi, I was sick twice.
“I was concerned because people say that itchiness and rashes can be something to do with your liver function when you're pregnant, but the doctors said everything was fine, before telling me that I am in early labour.”
Shaughna went on to admit that she got “really nervous” after she got home and “got a really intense pain that felt like it was pushing down”, but her mum came round to comfort her.
Over a week later from the ordeal, Shaughna’s little one is still to arrive.
She doesn’t know the gender of her unborn child, but said she’s excited to find out if she’s going to be a mum to a boy or girl.
