Paul Hollywood reveals celebrity life is ‘difficult to deal with’
Paul Hollywood is set to tie the knot with pub landlady Melissa Spalding, 39, at the Anassa Hotel in Cyprus this week.
The Great British Bake Off judge previously lived in Cyprus during the 1990s and worked at the hotel as head baker where he met his now ex-wife Alexandra.
Alexandra, who was a scuba diving instructor, wed Paul in 1998 but split in 2017.
Paul and Melissa are reportedly expecting 75 guests, including celebrity pals, such as fellow Bake Off judge Prue Leith, 83.
A source told The Sun: “People privately think it’s odd he’s marrying here because he has so many memories of his first wife connected to the hotel.

“He gets treated like royalty by the owners, but what must Melissa think?
“She’s following in the same footsteps where he had another woman on his arm.
“He publicly talks of how precious the memories are for him at the Anassa.
“But they all involve other women.”

In a 2016 interview, Paul said of the hotel: “We can really unwind and it’s nice that there are still some of the same guys working there, so it feels familiar.”
The TV star previously dated Summer Monteys-Fullam, 27, for two years back in 2019 and they visited Cyprus in 2018.
Paul later met Melissa at The Chequers Inn, where the baker was a regular.
Romance rumours about Paul and Melissa’s relationship began to circulate when the pair vacationed in Paphos, Cyprus.

They confirmed their relationship in December 2019 when they spent Christmas Day together at her pub, with a spokesperson for Paul stating: “They are very happily together.”
A source close to the couple said: “Melissa was pulling pints and cleaning tables on Christmas Day so they didn’t get to spend much time together.”
Last year it was revealed that Paul was residing with his new girlfriend in the rural house he had purchased with Summer.
Friends previously spoke about how the couple said they are “madly in love”, saying: “Paul and Melissa spent a lot of time together in lockdown.
“They bubbled up together and stayed at his house. Now she is there for good.”
“They are delightfully happy, though it must be a bit strange given it was bought for Summer.”
