The Voice coach Olly Murs, 36, lives with his girlfriend Amelia Tank in Essex. In a recent interview, he admitted that despite his partner keeping him “smiling” during the pandemic, he has been struggling with the current lockdown.

He revealed: “I’ve got to say that this lockdown has probably been the hardest one for me.

“I felt last year I kind of dealt with it okay. But this time around it’s been really really tough.”

“I’ve had some really bad days and not felt myself at all – especially the last month, I’ve felt not myself.

“Not felt that energy or my mojo back. Amelia’s been the one that’s been picking me up. Normally I’m the one picking her up sometimes,” he added on This Morning. 

The former X Factor star went on to say despite the tough time, he has vowed to “keep smiling and keep positive”.

He went on to say he had new music coming, but didn’t feel mentallty motivated about it during the current lockdown. 

During his chat with hosts Ruth Langsford and Eamonn Holmes, he discussed the current series of The Voice.

For two years in a row, he has been the winning coach and vows to to make it a third.
