Nicola Peltz’s Valentino wedding look – and secret trips to Rome with ‘Man of Honour’

Nicola Peltz was wearing a stunning custom-made strapless gown by Italian fashion designer Valentino when she married Brooklyn Beckham yesterday.

The dress was created especially for her by the house's creative director, Pierpaolo Piccioli.

Worn with an elegant, sweeping veil positioned high on her head above her hair, which was styled in an elegant bun, the dress had long sleeves and lace detailing.

Photographs published on the MailOnline show a daring backless design fastened with an oversized satin bow.

Nicola opted for an entirely white bouquet of bridal flowers and wore understated makeup, potentially from her mother-in-law's beauty line, for her big day.

Nicola previously revealed she travelled to Rome to choose every detail of her dress from the fit to the fabric.

"We've been to Rome twice, watching everyone in the atelier, they're just so talented," she told CR Fashion Handbook.

"The first time I went to Rome, I brought my mom and my brother Brad, who’s actually my man of honour, and then [fashion stylist] Leslie Fremar who’s one of my best friends in the whole world.

"It is really a beautiful thing to be a part of and it’s very exciting."

"I have not thought of a specific dress that I want to get married in," Nicola continued.

"So actually finding what that is with Valentino has been really amazing.

"The creative process has been fun, like finding the perfect fit and fabric."

Meanwhile, her husband Brooklyn donned a Yarmulke for his big day, telling Vogue magazine back in February: "Full wedding prep mode and it's a lot of fun.

"It's strange, because the more wedding meetings that we have, the more real it feels. Like it still kind of feels fake, in a way. I'm excited. I'm wearing a Yarmulke."

"Yes, Jewish wedding," added Nicola.

The starlet is no stranger to Valentino, wearing a custom design by the house to the Met Gala last September.

That look was made up of an empire-waisted, sequinned pink dress, which she teamed with opera gloves.

Victoria Beckham is believed to be a big inspiration to Nicola.

The actress chose a yellow, ruffled dress from Victoria's collection to announce her engagement in 2020.
