‘Love & Hip Hop: Atlanta’ star indicted on multiple child abuse charges

“Love & Hip Hop: Atlanta” star Tommie Lee has been indicted on multiple child abuse charges.

The reality star, whose real name is Atasha Chizaah Jefferson, was indicted in Cobb County, Georgia, last week on charges of aggravated assault, child cruelty, battery, aggravated stalking and disrupting a public school, reports the Atlanta Journal-Constitution.

The charges stem from an incident last October, in which Lee, 34, allegedly grabbed one of her children by the hair and shoved their head into a metal locker at their middle school.

Lee was arrested twice in connection to the case, first for the alleged assault and again the next day when she violated a court order to stay away from the child.

Lee faces seven charges, three of which are felonies. According to TMZ, she faces up to 54 years in prison if convicted on all counts.

News of the indictment comes days after Lee reportedly wrote that she’d no longer be appearing on “Love & Hip Hop: Atlanta” in an Instagram comment.

Reps for Lee did not respond to a request for comment.
