Little Mix’s Jade Thirlwall reveals she still hasn’t met Perrie Edwards’ baby Axel
Jade Thirlwall has revealed she has still not met her Little Mix bandmate Perrie Edwards' baby over two months after his birth.
Perrie, 28, welcomed her first child, son Axel, with boyfriend Alex Oxlade-Chamberlain, also 28, in August.
Discussing her bandmates Perrie and Leigh-Anne Pinnock – who welcomed twins just days before Perrie gave birth – and their recent births, Jade has admitted she still hasn't find the time to visit her pal.
Speaking on the Table Manners podcast, Jade said: "I'm the fabulous rich auntie, that's the title I think. I've seen Leigh's bubbas so far, she's got twins. I went to see them not so long ago and they are beautiful.
"I haven't seen Perrie's yet, I'm going to go and see her soon. I wanted to give them a bit of space.
"We are literally sisters and we are obsessed with each other but I didn't want to intrude them and remind them of work too soon so I've given them a bit of time.
"It's very strange seeing them as mums because I see us as kids still. I was 18, Perrie was 17 and they say the age you get famous is the age you stay mentality wise."
Jade has been busy promoting the band's greatest hits album Between Us while Perrie and Leigh-Anne have been on maternity leave.
She said of the workload: "I’m happy to, because I’d hate to be at home twiddling my thumbs.
"I like being busy, I like working. So, I’m more than happy to do it while they’re resting up. Well, not resting."

Elsewhere on the podcast, hosted by singer Jessie Ware and her mum Lennie, the songstress teased her wedding to boyfriend Jordan Stephens and hinted at making a solo record in the future.
Lennie asked Jade: "When you marry Jordan will you have an Egyptian wedding? Will you come in on a throne like Cleopatra?"
Jade laughed: "Maybe, I do love being a bit extra."
Discussing solo work, she said: "If I ever did my own record, I'd have to have Diana Ross on it somehow, or I'd love to write a song for her."
