Lindsay Lohan Reveals Her Weirdest Movie Audition and Weighs in on Alleged 'Disney Curse'

Perhaps the most interesting revelation from new interview is the shockingly low amount of auditions she’s actually had.

Lindsay Lohan has only auditioned for two movies, despite over a dozen film credits on her resume.

"I only auditioned for ‘The Parent Trap.’ I would be terrified to audition," the actress told Variety in an interview published Tuesday. "I don’t even know what it would be like. I think I would freeze. My agent asked me to read for something, and I was like, ‘I can’t.’ I would panic."

"It’s such a different experience," she continued. "I don’t think I could do it."

The "Mean Girls" star, who is busy promoting her new MTV reality show, "Lindsay Lohan’s Beach Club," pointed out that she has only been directly "asked" to audition once — for director Oliver Stone’s 2012 drama "Savages. According to her, it was weird.

"I met with him and they wanted me to read," she recalled. "And I said, ‘I’m really, really bad at this, and I’m going to forget everything the second I start, so I might just ad-lib it.’ And he was like, ‘You were great.’ And I was like, ‘OK.’ It was such a weird experience."

History tells us Lohan didn’t get the gig, but she didn’t detail what role she was up for in the drug cartel thriller starring Blake Lively, Aaron Taylor-Johnson and Taylor Kitsch.

Lohan’s acting career was launched as the child star of Disney’s "The Parent Trap" remake. Even though she’s struggled with substance abuse issues like other former Disney kids, including Miley Cyrus, Demi Lovato and Zac Efron, Lohan doesn’t believe in the "Disney curse."

"I don’t feel cursed," she said. "It was different then. There was less protection. So maybe that was the struggle. People know you so young and people are chasing you, and then instead of going to college, you have a month or two months off and you want to go to a club and that’s ‘bad.’"

"I don’t think there’s any curse with Disney," she continued. "That’s just a dark thing to say. If anything, it was a blessing, because we’re all still here."

When Lohan was asked if she considers herself to be a "feminist," she gave a very Lindsay Lohan response.

"I’m just Lindsay Lohan," she said. "Whatever that is."
