Late Luke Perry Remembered by ‘Beverly Hills, 90210’ Co-Stars on 55th Birthday

Tori Spelling, Jennie Garth and Ian Ziering have each paid a loving tribute to the Dylan McKay depicter who died in 2019 after suffering a massive stroke.

AceShowbiz -“Beverly Hills, 90210” cast members Tori Spelling, Jennie Garth and Ian Ziering have remembered their late co-star Luke Perry on what would have been his 55th birthday.

Perry, who played heartthrob Dylan McKay on the hit 1990s teen drama, died in 2019 after suffering a massive stroke and on Monday, October 11, his pals paid tribute to him on social media.

Garth, who played Dylan’s love interest Kelly Taylor on the series, shared a sweet black-and-white flashback photo of her with Luke on Instagram, writing, “Miss you my friend.”

Spelling, meanwhile, who starred as Donna Martin in “Beverly Hills, 90210”, shared some heartwarming memories on the platform, noting Luke was the first guy to make her feel valued “as a human.”

“I remember meeting you as a young insecure teen girl,” she wrote. “You were the first boy to ever make me feel worth as a human, a female, and a comedienne. As a friend and big brother. You stood up for me fiercely.”

“Went to brawl literally for me when I was in a verbally abusive relationship and sat and talked me thru the most insecure moments of a teen angst girl’s life. You had a way of making every single human feel confident, heard, and special the minute they met you. Your energy was pure selfless love. A giver in this ungiving life. Your loving nature carried thru decades.”

Ian Ziering, who was Dylan’s friend Steve Sanders on the show, also shared a photo with Perry, alongside the caption, “Miss, you pal. Happy birthday, LP.”
