Lamar Odom's Ex Once Revealed Which Kardashian-Jenner Told Her About His 2015 Overdose

Lamar Odom’s ex-fiancee, Liza Morales, said several members of Khloé Kardashian’s family supported her and their children while he recovered from his overdose in 2015.

Before he got sick, Odom and Kardashian separated after Kardashian filed for divorce in December 2013. Morales said she first met Kardashian and her family after Odom proposed to her in 2009.

Liza Morales said Kim Kardashian West was the first to tell her about Lamar Odom instead of Khloé Kardashian

During his marriage to Kardashian, Odom’s private life became more public. The couple faced infidelity issues on Odom’s side. Odom’s misuse of drugs and sex also came to the forefront. Kardashian and her family discussed her marriage’s private side during episodes of Keeping Up With the Kardashians

After Kardashian filed for divorce from Odom in December 2013, photos surfaced of the former Lakers player partying in different locations. In 2015, Odom faced a health scare while he attended The Love Ranch in Nevada. Several attendees found Odom unconscious, and the ambulance rushed the NBA star to a Nevada hospital where he spent several weeks recovering.

According to the Daily Mail, Morales appeared on Raq Rants with Raquel Harper and discussed how she learned of Odom’s condition. Instead of receiving a call from Kardashian regarding her ex, Morales said the first person she talked to in Kardashian’s family was her sister, Kim. Morales then revealed that Kim guided her and Odom’s children- Destiny Odom and Lamar Odom, Jr, through the daunting time.

“Kim was super cool,’ Morales said. “Kim actually called me when everything happened. “We got there. She said, ‘Hello, everybody.’ When we got into the room, they gave us time. We needed that, especially my children and his aunt. I was there with his aunt. It was an extremely difficult moment, but it was our time with him.’’

Khloé Kardashian paid for Liza Morales and her children to see Lamar Odom during his coma

Once the news broke about Odom’s overdose, several of his loved ones rushed to his side to see him through his ordeal. In addition to Kardashian and Kim, Kris Jenner and Kourtney Kardashian frequently visited the Nevada hospital where Odom was staying.

According to E! News, Kardashian ensured that Odom’s ex was also in attendance to support him. Since Kardashian and Odom were still legally married, Kardashian was responsible for his legal and health concerns. Kardashian flew Morales, Destiny, Lamar Jr, and Odom’s aunt, JaNean, to Vegas days after Odom’s overdose.

The gesture from Morales came after her troubled past with Kardashian. While Morales has said positive things about Kardashian, she said Odom’s marriage deeply affected her. The surprise proposal from Odom came after Morales ended their relationship a decade together.

“I don’t think I’ll forget the tight knot I felt in the pit of my stomach the morning I received the text message with three simple words on the screen. It read ‘I’m getting married’ and it was from the man I’d spent more than 10 years of my life with. Years that included us getting engaged in 2000 and becoming parents to one daughter and two sons,” Morales wrote. Yet not long after our separation Lamar Odom was getting married to Khloé Kardashian, a woman he’d met four weeks before. How could the man who’d constantly given me reason after reason for why we couldn’t get married just yet now be ready to tie the knot so quickly? There aren’t words to explain how I felt that day.”
