New year, new and VERY exciting news from Kim Kardashian and Kanye West:
The stars are about to become parents for the fourth time!!!!!
No, Kardashian is not pregnant.
But an insider tells Us Weekly that she and her husband have once again hired a surrogate to carry another child to term…
… and that this surrogate has been successfully implanted with the one remaining embryo Kim and Kanye had left after the last time they went this route to welcome daughter Chicago.
For this reason, we actually know already that Kimye is expecting a boy.
The aforementioned embryo, you see, was/is male.
The source claims that the surrogate (it’s unclear at the moment whether she is the same surrogate as before) is due in “very early May,” which is around the same time Meghan Markle is due.
How exciting, right?!?
In addition to baby Chicago, who was born last January, the couple is also parents to a five-year old named North and a three-year old named Saint.
Both were born naturally to Kardashian, but she was very open after the second pregnancy about certain problems that made these deliveries dangerous to her health.
Specifically, Kim has been diagnosed with placenta accreta.
This is a serious condition that occurs when the placenta grows too deeply into the uterine wall.
When one suffers from placenta accreta, part or all of the placenta remains attached after giving birth, which can cause severe blood loss after delivery.
Kardashian has been advised by her doctor not to get pregnant again, hence the use of surrogates.
All of this (important) medical mumbo jumbo aside, though… what tremendous news, right?!?
We had only recently been hearing that Kim might file for divorce from Kanye because he’s just too bat $hit crazy for her, but it’s safe to assume this rumor is not about to become a reality any time soon.
Not when a baby boy is on the way for the power twosome.
Just last year, of course, Kylie Jenner welcomed her first child and Khloe Kardashian did the same.
It’s been a very busy several months for this family on the baby front … and it won’t be slowing down any time soon.
For her part, Kim has always remained coy about adding to her family of five.
She never dismissed the notion of a fourth child, always sounding at least somewhat open to the possibility.
And she also talked very positively about the surrogacy process last year.
“I would have maybe one more [kid],” Kim said in May. “I really, really enjoyed the surrogacy process.
“I will say, when it came to the breastfeeding time, I was like, ‘Okay, this is the best decision I ever made.’
“It’s a game changer, having to not go through [nursing] every few hours. I can spend so much more time with the older kids and getting them used to the baby.”
