Kate Ferdinand shares heartwarming video of stepson Lorenz reading to Cree

Kate Ferdinand has shared an adorable video of her stepson, Lorenz Ferdinand, reading to her little boy Cree.

The 30 year old former TOWIE star took to Instagram, where she shared the sweet moment with her 1.4million followers.

"My heart …. big brother duties," penned the star, before tagging her stepson in the video.

Kate, who recently enjoyed a family holiday, shares little Cree with husband Rio Ferdinand, and it appears he's constantly shown love from his siblings.

Commenting on the post, Lydia Bright penned love hearts, while fans were quick to gush over the sweet moment.

"Gorgeous," wrote one, while another said: "Just adorable," and a third said they "absolutely loved" the video.

In the clip, Lorenz reads a train book to one year old Cree and the tot can be heard mimicking what his brother says.

The video comes after Kate revealed she's best pals with Rio's late wife's best friend.

The TOWIE star was speaking on her new podcast Blended when she revealed that she is good pals with a close friend of Rebecca Ellison, who was married to Rio Ferdinand until her death in 2015.

Rebecca and Rio, 43, had three children together – Lorenz, 15, Tate, 13 and Tia, 10 – who Kate is now stepmum to.

Kate met Rio in 2017 and the pair married two years later, welcoming their son Cree in 2021.

Speaking to stepmum Kim and her stepdaughter Amelia on her podcast, the group chatted about the experience of being part of a ‘blended’ family.

Kate told the pair: "From my experience, Rio's first wife's best friend is now my best friend, it's really amazing.

"I'm really lucky actually. She helps guide me and I am really fortunate to have her. But there was a lot of judgement around how can you be best friends with Kate if you were best friends with [Rebecca] " she went on.

The star revealed she wished she had known Rebecca, so she could better understand what her step-kids are going through.

She said: "For me I try my best to understand what my children are going through. But I never really will because I didn't know their mum and I don't know that loss.

"I always wish I knew their mum so I could tell them more stories about their mum. But there's only a certain amount of information I know because I didn't know her."
