Kane Brown Shares Video For New Song ‘Whiskey Sour’

With two songs reaching the zenith of popularity, “One Mississippi” and “Famous Friends,” Kane Brown has dropped yet another single “Whiskey Sour” for his listeners to cherish.

The song which is the third release from his still-unannounced project revolves around a poignant story of a couple who fell apart before they could make it to the altar.

“So now I take my whiskey sour / Sitting barside after hours / Thinking how can I get over it / If the love was never ours,” Brown sings at the chorus.

Referring to the subject of his songs as “other people’s stories,” Kane said, “The story behind the song is kind of weird for me. All my friends are really going through a depressing time with relationships. So when I heard this song for the first time, it really resonated with me just because the people around me and that’s why I fell in love with the song so much.”

Accompanying the release was a music video showing the singer in a studio setting along with a troupe of acoustic musicians in the background.

Kane had teased the song back on December 26, 2021, with an Instagram video of the country superstar in the kitchen of his Tennessee home singing along to the then-unreleased new song.
