Jenna Dewan still believes in love after Channing Tatum split

Jenna Dewan didn’t bottle up her emotions following her split from husband Channing Tatum in April.

“I didn’t run away from my feelings. I let myself cry. I let myself grieve,” the 38-year-old actress shares in the January issue of Cosmopolitan. “This is one of those situations where I will see the light. The dawn is coming.”

Dewan, who filed for divorce from Tatum, also 38, in late October, said that while she hasn’t given up on love, she remains focused on the relationship she has with herself.

“I do believe in love still, but I also believe it begins with really digging deep and learning how to love yourself,” she explained. “And then I think you sort of transmute that out to attract the right partner. I think that people who are meant to be sort of find each other.”

Most recently linked to Broadway actor Steve Kazee, Dewan also revealed she looks to dance to help get her groove back.

“When I’m feeling out of touch with myself, especially with my sexuality, I dance,” said the “Step Up” star. “I immediately drop back into my body, and I feel it’s where my sensuality lives. It’s kind of a carnal feeling when I dance.”

As for Tatum, who shares daughter Everly, 5, with Dewan, he is enjoying his budding romance with British songstress Jessie J.
