Janet Jackson Reportedly Sued By Former Tour Manager

Janet Jackson is reportedly being sued by her ex-tour manager, who is seeking $300 thousand in unpaid wages.

According to TMZ, Janet Jackson and her brother Randy Jackson are being sued by their former tour manager Danny O’Donovan, who alleges the two owe him $300 thousand in unpaid wages.

Janet and Randy had hired O’Donovan to manage Jackson’s “State of the World” tour in July of 2016. TMZ reports that O’Donovan was to be paid $25k a month and for the first five months of the tour he was paid properly. However, for the last 12 months, the payments stopped.

O’Donovan says he completed his contract despite not being paid. Now he is suing for the $300 thousand he didn’t receive.

Jackson’s “State of the World” tour was a relative success, as the 56-show tour made about $33.4 million.
