Jamie Foxx’s daughter Corinne and relatives seen outside physical rehab centre
Jamie Foxx’s daughter Corinne was joined by some of the actor’s family members at a physical rehab centre in Chicago on Sunday after issuing an update on the Hollywood star’s health.
The actor sparked concerns last month after it emerged he had been taken to hospital for an undisclosed “medical emergency” as the family asked fans for prayers.
On May 12, Corinne, 29, took to social media to share an update about his condition, highlighting that her dad had been “out of the hospital for weeks” and had even been “playing pickleball”.
However, just two days later she was spotted at the rehab centre, which according to DailyMail.com, treats “the most severe, complex conditions”.
The centre reportedly specialises in the treatment of “severe conditions like strokes, traumatic brain injuries, and spinal cord injuries”.
As the Collateral star’s relatives left the facility, Corinne was pictured hugging her boyfriend Joseph Hooten.
Jamie’s younger daughter Annalise, 13 was also seen at the centre with her mother, Kristin Grannis.
The actor’s family have not disclosed the reason behind his hospitalisation in April, which came as he was filming for a new film, the action-comedy movie Back In Action, with Cameron Diaz.
Foxx’s family announced on Instagram that the star was in hospital in a statement released via Corinne’s social media and that explained that Jamie had suffered a “medical complication” but reassured his fans that he was “on the way to recovery”.
The family’s statement read: “We wanted to share that my father, Jamie Foxx, experienced a medical complication yesterday (Tuesday, April 11).

“We know how beloved he is and appreciate your prayers. The family asks for privacy during this time.”
In a more recent update, Corinne said last week: “Update from the family: Sad to see how the media runs wild.
“My Dad has been out of the hospital for weeks, recuperating. In fact, he was playing pickleball yesterday.”
As she set the record straight on Jamie’s health, Corinne also teased an upcoming project and shared: “We have an exciting work announcement coming next week too!”
