Holly Willoughby giggles with King Charles after leaving This Morning early amid Phillip ‘feud’
This Morning presenter Holly Willoughby seemed unfazed by the ongoing reported "feud" claims with co-host Phillip Schofield on Wednesday as she left the show early to meet King Charles.
The daytime presenter, 42, left the show early as she dashed over to Buckingham Palace to meet King Charles and introduce The Prince's Trust award winners.
And despite the ongoing "feud" claims between herself and Phillip, Holly appeared to put the drama behind her as she shared a chuckle with King Charles himself.
Holly was spotted having a seemingly delightful conversation with American actor Stanley Tucci and the King as they giggled.
Holly looked like a stunning ray of sunshine as she donned an elegant yellow summer dress, with puffy sleeves and a matching belt.
Before Holly fled This Morning, she said: "I put my posh dress on today because later on this afternoon I am heading to Buckingham Palace and there the King will be, and we get to introduce the award winners to the King so he can say well done, which is all quite exciting isn’t it?"
To which Phillip, 61, replied with: "So you are off mid day-ish and I am holding the fort", before Holly responded with a “thank you”.
Phil continued to present the show alone when Holly left.
The annual event recognises young people who have succeeded against the odds, improved their chances in life and had a positive impact on their local community.
Holly also attended The Prince's Trust Awards on Tuesday while Phill was nowhere to be seen, even though he is an ambassador for The Prince’s Trust.
Phillip Schofield’s website states: “Outside of work, Phillip is an Ambassador for the charity The Prince's Trust, dedicating time to further the work of supporting vulnerable young people in the UK.”
It comes as Holly and Phil are said to have had a falling out and are "barely speaking" to one another off-camera, despite having previously been close friends.
